FOUNDER
Steven Overstreet
With more than 20 years of construction experience, Steven Overstreet has honed in on the art of meticulously crafting high-end custom homes throughout the Greater Boston area. Throughout his youth, Steven knew he would one day establish himself as a leader in the construction industry.
As an undergraduate attending Wentworth Institute of Technology’s Construction Management program, Steven began working for a premier luxury home builder recognized for their work on some of Boston’s most exclusive properties. It was during this time that Steven grew a strong appreciation for architecture, craftsmanship, and the “processes” of construction management. After graduating from Wentworth in 2003, Steven continued to work as a Project Manager in the Boston area until 2006 when he branched off to begin his legacy. Knowing his heart was drawn to high-end residential design, Steven strove to establish a company with a mission of providing quality work with professional services.
Since the founding of S.J. OVERSTREET CONSTRUCTION CO, INC., Steven’s intent has been to provide superior craftsmanship with exceptional customer service. The success of S.J.O. would not be possible without the unwavering support of his team of skilled carpenters and the many dedicated tradesmen that he has worked with along the way. Their commitment and professionalism have been instrumental in making S.J.O a leader in fine homebuilding.
Outside of work, Steven can be found spending quality time with his wife, Tessa, their daughter, Isabella, and their rescue dog, Hemi. When able, Steven makes time for his various hobbies including boating, fishing, snowmobiling, golfing, traveling, and cheering on Boston sports teams.
